Valentines Sewing Workshop

Come join us for a couple of hours learning a new skill or sharpening up your sewing tool kit.  In this class, we will be making a "quilt as you go" hot plate/placemat/table runner.  We will learn about half-square triangles and methods to construct them.  We will also use the quilt as you go technique to qult your project and learn how to bind your finished product.  General knowledge of a sewing machine and a decent seam allowance will yield the best results.

When: Wednesday, January 28, 5:30 - 8 pm or Saturday, January 31 2:30 to 5 pm

Where: Shoppe Around the Corner 39A Third Street, Englehart 

Cost: $50, all supplies for the project are included; you can either rent a machine for $10 or bring your own.

**Notes: There are 2 ways to construct this project in either a heart shape or a classic quilt square.  The choice will be yours.  The fabric will be pre-decided and cute.  If you are bringing your own machine, please make sure it is in good working condition and you have the thread and needles you will need.  If you have any questions, please reach out.
